Meet the Rock Stars...the prepReady ACT Instructors!!

Finding the best teachers to help you maximize your testing potential was no random act. The prepREADY "dream team" is dedicated and motivated to helping teens all over the Cincinnati area achieve their best score on the ACT.

We know that "one little score" can be life-changing. It may help you get into the college of your choice, or possibly help you get into an Honors program or earn a scholarship.  And even though they're fun, they are serious about getting you prepared for test day.

At prepREADY, we think it's important that our instructors are current classroom teachers...using the latest and best teaching techniques, and in touch with the heartbeats of teens.  Teaching at high-performing area high schools and each having a Masters Degree in their subject area, here they are:

Carol Lehman:  For 20 years, Carol has been setting her science lab on fire (not literally!).  She has been recognized by the University of Cincinnati for her teaching excellence and is loved by the thousands of students she's taught and coached over the years.  Her expertise is in the life science arena where she has taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Forensic Science, AP Biology and Botany and Zoology. Carol is a motivator and a true believer in teenagers.  Through humor and her vast knowledge of subject area, she gets kids excited about maximizing their potential, both in the classroom and in life.  Carol knows the Science portion of the ACT inside and out and will help you not only understand what it consists of, but more importantly, HOW to tackle it.

Jason Shields:  Constantly striving to impact the lives of teens, the wheels in Jason's brain never stop turning.  Named Disney Teacher of the Year in 2006, and multiple teaching excellence awards by universities such as M.I.T. and others, Jason captivates the minds of his students by challenging them to push their brains to the limit.  If it's math, Jason has taught it!  Currently he teaches a course to high schoolers that is the level beyond AP Calculus.  Along with teaching Algebra, PreCalculus, and Engineering Math, Jason never stops teaching, serving, and working with teens.  Even if math isn't your thing, Jason will guide you through the Math portion of the ACT, providing important strategies, as you become confident in navigating those 60 questions!

Carrie Snyder:  There is typically standing room only in any elective that Carrie Snyder offers.  Known for her upbeat personality and positive attitude, Carrie brings out the best in her students and turns them into amazing thinkers and writers.  Teaching the English, Reading, and Writing portion of the ACT, Carrie has a knack for finding a way to stick in your brain as you're taking the actual ACT.  She will teach you what to pay attention to, what to ignore, and how much time you have to get it all finished!  And she does it all with an infectious smile.  In her spare time, you will find her playing real-life "Glee", directing school musicals!

Check out what their screaming FANS have to say!
