Beware of the people who call themselves "experts", but have no formal training in college admissions or life experience in the job. Some folks who are trying to advise your teen on college admissions have very little, if any, experience in actual college admissions guidance...their knowledge consists of what they've read "online" or in a book.

We like to start the process of discovering what makes your teen tick by administering the Strong Interest Inventory (College Majors Edition) and the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory. Our Certified Futures on Fire Consultants analyze and interpret the results. A consultation is held to review results and help make informed decisions about a potential major and future career.
Then, a list of potential and realistic colleges is provided, based on family expectations and teen preferences, along with chance of acceptance centered on GPA, ACT/SAT scores, high school activities, course rigor, etc. A plan is then outlined to maximize the time left in high school to increase the chance of admission to the colleges of choice.
